Finishing the night at Le Poisson Rouge to hear Doveman, Rufus Wainwright, and Sean Lennon. This was my Chardonnay option.

Stephanie is the Wine Director at City Winery in NYC. This is what Stephanie had to say of her glass of Trefethen Chard!

Nose of citrus and lemon verbena. Juicy on the palate with brisk acidity and spicy poached pear flavors. Deft use of oak gives a few toasty notes but does not dominate. Nice hint of tarragon on the finish. A well-balanced Cali Chardonnay!
